Azza Abugharsa

Dr. Azza Abugharsa is a scholar and educator specializing in TESOL, Applied Linguistics, Computational Linguistics, Middle Eastern Studies, and Islamic Studies. She has dedicated her academic career to language education, linguistic research, and interdisciplinary scholarship. She holds multiple master’s degrees in TESOL and Linguistics, Computational Linguistics, Middle Eastern Studies, and Islamic Studies, as well as a Ph.D. in TESOL and Linguistics. Dr. Abugharsa has published extensively in applied linguistics, discourse analysis, language teaching, computational linguistics, and Islamic studies, and is the author of several books in both English and Arabic. Her work bridges language, education, culture, and faith, with a particular interest in academic writing, Arabic linguistics, Islamic thought, and the preservation and study of regional dialects. Through her teaching, research, and writing, she seeks to contribute to scholarly advancement while promoting cross-cultural understanding and lifelong learning. When she’s not teaching, Dr. Abugharsa enjoys exercising, going on walks, cooking Middle Eastern dishes, and sketching life-like portraits.
