Russian - High Beginner 1

Course Description

This is a standard class that meets once per week for 8 consecutive weeks: January 6 – February 24. Perfect for students who completed the Beginner program or who have a solid foundation in basic Russian. This level focuses on dialogue, listening skills, accent improvement, and reading comprehension. Students will learn to distinguish between different verb tenses in relation to describing actions in the past and present. Videos and songs will also be used to improve oral comprehension. Topics: hobbies, food, routines/everyday activities Objectives: reading and writing cursive, days of the week, months, telling time, motion verbs, the simple past tense, expressing wants/needs, and continuation of cases
