Italian - High Intermediate 1

Course Description

This is a standard class that meets once per week for 8 weeks: September 9 – October 28 Students will learn about different cultural points such as Italian literary history and music. Both written material and videos will be used to improve reading and oral comprehension. Focus will also be on vocabulary development, complex grammar topics, and speaking practice. Topics: art, literature, music, politics, and cultural diversity Objectives: passato remoto, congiuntivo presente, congiunzioni che richiedono il congiuntivo, "volerci" e "metterci", l'imperfetto del congiuntivo, il trapassato del congiuntivo Textbook: Prego!
