French - High Intermediate 1

Course Description

This is a standard class that meets once per week for 8 consecutive weeks: September 10 – October 29. Students will refine their use of verb tenses and continue to expand their vocabularies. Written and audio materials will be used to enhance students' reading and listening capabilities in particular. Students can also expect conversation practice on a wide range of topics. Topics: sports, art, occupations, traditions, and meetings Objectives: verbs of displacement, relative pronouns, irregular adjectives, ordinal numbers, reflexive verbs, and introduction to the conditional tense (present and past) Textbook: Contacts, 8th Edition, Lessons 23-29
