Chieko was born and educated in Japan and now resides in Massachusetts. She began her Japanese teaching career in Tokyo where she met international students from all over the world. It is a joy for her to see students' progress and to help them achieve their goals. She has been teaching for over 20 years and has experience in preparing students for the renowned JLPT at all levels. She loves the arts and enjoys visiting museums in Boston, as well as teaching students about Japanese art forms like calligraphy, poetry, and music.
