Course Description

This is a Summer Express class that meets once per week for 6 consecutive weeks: July 12 – August 16. Introduces basic phrases and vocabulary with an emphasis on pronunciation and fundamental grammar. Students will learn to introduce themselves and talk about their daily activities. Topics: family, work, studies, and travel Objectives: definite and indefinite articles, pronouns, possessive pronouns, numbers, colors, simple nouns and adjectives, gender and number agreement, the simple present tense, and the use of "ser" and "estar" Textbook: Vistas, 5th edition
