Russian for Heritage Speakers

Course Description

This is a standard class that meets once per week for 8 consecutive weeks: September 3 – October 22. This course is designed for students who grew up hearing Russian at home and want to strengthen their reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension skills. With an emphasis on conversation, you’ll practice expressing yourself naturally while developing grammar knowledge, cultural understanding, and a more sophisticated vocabulary. Whether you’d like to connect more deeply with family, explore Russian culture, or refine your skills for travel, study, or work, this class will help you build on your background and gain confidence using Russian in a variety of settings.
