Japanese - Beginner

Course Description

This is a standard class that meets once per week for 8 consecutive weeks: February 1 – March 22. Introduces both hiragana and katakana scripts, pronunciation, basic vocabulary, simple sentence structure, and common expressions. The primary focus of this level is on building a foundation in grammar, pronunciation, conversational phrases, and reading/writing skills. Also introduces telling time and forming interrogatives.
