Understanding cultures through language Wendy's lifelong passion and profession. While studying in France, she became curious about the German language and culture, so after graduating with a teaching certificate and a degree in French, Wendy decided to return to Europe to study German. Her love of the Alps inspired her to go to Munich, where she ended up living and working for 30 years. Wendy's professional experience includes teaching all levels of English, Business English, German, French, and intercultural communication skills, as well as writing and translating. Now that she has returned to my New England roots, Wendy enjoys living on a spectacular salt marsh that constantly beckons her to go kayaking, walking, birdwatching, and swimming.
