Valerie Sanabria Aldana 

Spanish Instructor  
 

Valerie was born in Guatemala and raised between Guatemala and New Jersey after moving to the U.S. She holds a Bachelor’s degree with a double major in Journalism and Spanish from Kean University and a Master’s degree in Hispanic Studies from Boston College, where she also worked as a Teaching Fellow for Elementary and Intermediate Spanish courses. 

 

Currently, Valerie is a part-time instructor at Boston College, teaching Intermediate Spanish. She is passionate about Latin American culture and traditions, and enjoys sharing that enthusiasm with her students. Outside of the classroom, Valerie loves spending time with her family, reading, and playing with her young niece.
